CompressFree is designed around transparent processing. Client-side tools run in your browser, and future server-side tools will be clearly labeled.

Client-side processing

Image, QR, and text MVP tools process locally in the browser. Files and text are not sent to a CompressFree server for these tools.

Future server-side tools

Some future PDF, OCR, and large batch tools may require server-side processing. Those tools should display clear upload and retention notes before processing.

Analytics and ads

Analytics and advertising should be added only after launch traffic is stable, with ad placements separated from real download buttons.
